Disney 2012: Epcot & Drinks Around the World.

Ryan and I had a full day on our own to explore the magical world of Disney and we both wanted to have some time without the kids during our vaca. We decided to do Epcot and have a drink at every country that we went to. 11 countries. Ya. I knew I couldn't handle it so we decided to split our drinks.

Thank God.

It started off fine and dandy. Can I handle this?

We rode a few rides together (Soaring was amazing...you can literally SMELL the pine trees on the ride) and then ventured off to Mexico, our first stop of the World Showcase. Patron margarita on the rocks with salt...split in two...bam. The friendly Spanish workers chuckled and mumbled at us and remarked a jumbled verse that they were glad we were splitting, good luck, stick with beer, blah blah blah, etc etc etc. Here we go.

Next stop was Norway where we decided we should to as many activities as possible so we wouldn't get too out of control. We are parents ya know... We did the boat ride there and then split a Carlsberg beer.

We soon ventured off to China where we walked around the museum and pretended to care what we were looking at. We really only cared about our next drink. Wow. Grown ups. We split a Yuengling beer in honor of Don Don, Ryan's dad, who loves the stuff.

Then it was beer in Germany, Prosecco in Italy, and of course a Bud Light draft in the good ol US of A.

Damn. Almost halfway. Time for lunch! We split a spicy tuna roll and chicken teriyaki in Japan and ventured off again. Kirin Ichiban beer in hand.

Do you know how tired I was of asking people to take our picture? Are you sick of my blinding pink neon shirt yet?

Next was Casablanca beer in Morocco where I fell in love with the gorgeous tile fountain. At this point I have stopped noticing our surroundings, to tell you the truth. I am a 2 beer queer and proud of it. We swung through France for a nice glass of vino, too.

Only two stops left and there was a light at the end of the tunnel. We had beer in the UK while browsing some gift shops, and I couldn't tell you what we drank for the life of me.

YAYYYYY, CANADA!!!! One last drink (that I didn't even sample) and we were done. We did it. I felt like a college school girl again. Can you tell by my hair that I was good-to-go?

I may not have been closely looking at our surroundings, but I did manage to snap some pictures of these GORGEOUS character sculptures made of plants and flowers. Nobody does it like Disney.

Aw, Cinderella and her Prince Charming... I was beyond excited to get to spend the day with mine. We had a blast and laughed the entire day. Would you believe it if I told you we went to two more parks after we finished our drinks around the world? Well we did. :)

Baby K @ 4 months!

First off...we just got home from a week in Disney World! It was amazing trip and we all had a great time. Do you ever feel like you need a vacation from your vacation?! I do. Exhausting, but still so happy I got to take my little ones there. I will be posting all week about our vaca, but I wanted to dedicate todays post to my sweet baby girl who is 4 months old today. Can you believe it?! I can't. 1/3rd of a year is gone.

Kenley Grace...

You drink 5 bottles a day and have 5 ounces at each feeding. You CHOW. Like, you get seriously angry when you are finished eating or we make you burp. You drink so fast that it sometimes makes you gassy...I am a fan of mylecon, and you will kill me one day for writing this. Tonight we start cereal and if you are anything like Brady you will love it.

You are growing so tall and we are all wondering when you will surpass your big brother in height. You have strawberry blonde hair and look like a different person everyday. I think you are starting to look like your Daddy but I see a lot of Brady in you too.

You sleep randomly throughout the day and do a solid TWELVE HOURS at night. You sleep better than your brother does and are completely adaptable to your surroundings. Auntie Ashleigh gave you a glow worm that we play for you at night and you love to stare at it and feel her little face. There must always be a blanket over half of your face or you don't sleep. You started sleeping in your crib on April 10th officially! You could have slept in there a long time ago, but both your daddy and I didn't want you to leave our side for one second. You love your crib and have had no problems at all transitioning. I have a special monitor I use for you that will go off if you stop breathing in your crib. Call me crazy, but you can't buy peace of mind.

You are becoming so much more vocal and like to play with your little rattles and toys. We spend a lot of the day on the play-mat looking at the lights, listening to music, and doing tummy time. You kind of hate tummy time, but your mama forces you to do it. Your head is so strong now and you can roll from back to side.

Girlfriend...you have more clothes than you will ever be able to wear. You have a dress for every single day of the summer and I fully admit I have a shopping problem when it comes to you. If it's girly, frilly, pink, and prissy I buy it for you. Your bow collection is quite out of control and the bigger you grow the bigger they get. You wear size 3-6 month clothes, size 2 diapers, and size 1 shoes.

You love your brother and he is (mostly) sweet to you. You love to stare up at him and coo, even when he is trying to lay on you lovingly or squeeze beside you on your play-mat. My hope is that you will be best friends and that he will protect you always.

You are an excellent traveler and you were an angel on your first plane ride to Disney. You slept almost the entire trip both ways in me or your Daddy's arms. I know you will never remember going to Disney World but it was so fun dreaming about you being a little bigger and swooning over the Princesses just like I did. Er, do.

You ARE a bow baby little princess girl, and my real-life baby doll, just like I always dreamed I would have. I never thought I would have a baby girl and I count my blessings every day that I am lucky enough to call you mine. You have such huge blueberry eyes and the sweetest disposition. You are so easy. You love your Daddy and always turn your head when you hear his voice or laugh. You smile all the time and my heart feels like it could literally burst with joy when you do. You are the perfect addition to are family. I'm obsessed.

Thin MINT.

I know this is a growing trend for spring and summer, but lately I find myself obsessing over all things MINT! It is the perfect color in that it is both fun and somewhat neutral. MMMM, MINTY!

What is your current color of the moment? I am loving coral as well, but I just can't stop purchasing this light, yummy, MINTY confection.
