Thank God.
It started off fine and dandy. Can I handle this?
We rode a few rides together (Soaring was amazing...you can literally SMELL the pine trees on the ride) and then ventured off to Mexico, our first stop of the World Showcase. Patron margarita on the rocks with salt...split in two...bam. The friendly Spanish workers chuckled and mumbled at us and remarked a jumbled verse that they were glad we were splitting, good luck, stick with beer, blah blah blah, etc etc etc. Here we go.
Next stop was Norway where we decided we should to as many activities as possible so we wouldn't get too out of control. We are parents ya know... We did the boat ride there and then split a Carlsberg beer.
We soon ventured off to China where we walked around the museum and pretended to care what we were looking at. We really only cared about our next drink. Wow. Grown ups. We split a Yuengling beer in honor of Don Don, Ryan's dad, who loves the stuff.
Then it was beer in Germany, Prosecco in Italy, and of course a Bud Light draft in the good ol US of A.
Damn. Almost halfway. Time for lunch! We split a spicy tuna roll and chicken teriyaki in Japan and ventured off again. Kirin Ichiban beer in hand.
Do you know how tired I was of asking people to take our picture? Are you sick of my blinding pink neon shirt yet?
Next was Casablanca beer in Morocco where I fell in love with the gorgeous tile fountain. At this point I have stopped noticing our surroundings, to tell you the truth. I am a 2 beer queer and proud of it. We swung through France for a nice glass of vino, too.
Only two stops left and there was a light at the end of the tunnel. We had beer in the UK while browsing some gift shops, and I couldn't tell you what we drank for the life of me.
YAYYYYY, CANADA!!!! One last drink (that I didn't even sample) and we were done. We did it. I felt like a college school girl again. Can you tell by my hair that I was good-to-go?
I may not have been closely looking at our surroundings, but I did manage to snap some pictures of these GORGEOUS character sculptures made of plants and flowers. Nobody does it like Disney.
Aw, Cinderella and her Prince Charming... I was beyond excited to get to spend the day with mine. We had a blast and laughed the entire day. Would you believe it if I told you we went to two more parks after we finished our drinks around the world? Well we did. :)
To be continued...
