Mother's Day 2012.

This was a very special Mothers Day for me because it was my first Mother's Day with TWO babies. I still can't believe I have been blessed with such great children and that I get to be their mom. It makes me feel like my heart could literally burst with the love I have for them. I ask myself everyday...how did I get here? How did I get so lucky? I have to thank my own Mama for showing me her ways. I couldn't have done it without you. xoxoxo.

I think that watching your children grow is such a bittersweet thing. I constantly am reminding myself to soak in every moment.

For Mother's Day this year we all (Ryan's fam & my fam) went to a lobster bake at my mom's house. A true New England Mother's Day. YUM YUM! Ryan let me sleep in and got the kids ready, and then surprised me with a gorgeous Michael Kors watch, sweet cards from he and the kids, and roses.

{My kids have good taste...HA!}

We headed over to my mom's for lunch and Brady played outside. It was in the high 70's and a gorgeous day to be outside. The kids have quite the setup at both their grandparents house... Brady even has a hockey net at my moms. There really is never a dull moment. We all relaxed while the boys picked up the lobsters and Don Don (Ryan's dad) cooked the steamers.

My mom is such a great hostess and had everything all set up for us. She is so adorable! I didn't expect her to go all out, especially because it was Mother's Day, but she went above and beyond my expectations.

{Supermaaaaaaaaan.}

{Mum & her girls.}

We spent the rest of the day relaxing with the family, drinking and eating, and playing baggo. I have said this before but I think it is so wonderful that our families have seamlessly blended together. It makes things so easy and convenient for everyone that we all get along and enjoy spending time together.

{Happy Mother's Day, Mellen!}

{Don Don & Sam...the Ginger Club.}

{My Brady Boy!}

{Sam and Ryan on the NERDY tandem bike. Yep.}

{They really rode it around the block!!!}

{Mum & her grandbaby.}

{Baggo.}

{The littlest loves of my life.}

We had an amazing day, and to top it off, Brady learned how to pedal on a big boy bike (with training wheels of course!) It was such a proud moment for both he and I and I will always remember it happening on Mother's Day.

{So excited.}

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day with your families.
