Choosing a dress is a huge commitment and needs to fit my personality and should also coincide with the wedding theme; but, I have no wedding theme until I find the gown. It's a country club wedding so I know I want something sort of traditional-ish. I comb over blogs, magazines, pinterest, and wedding websites every day to see what the gowns look like on real people because I am not a 5'10" size 0 bride.
So, the real search commences next week. I am tied between two styles of dresses; A-line or a fit and flare. I guess I just have to start trying things on to see what is "me." I, of course, have to have some sort of *BLING* on the dress and most likely a sweetheart neckline. I love lace but am picky about it. I want to be princessy, but without the monster ballgown. I am literally all over the place.

I would love any tips from my married friends of how they found The One (the dress that is!) I am THE MOST indecisive person ever, FYI. Oh, and I only hope my real wedding is as cool as my imaginary pinterest one.

Hey girl! Love the blog! I can't wait to pick out my wedding dress either! When asking my friends who have gone through this they say always go in with an open mind. You may try on a designer/style/fabric you would not have thought about/or that you didn't think you'd like and end up loving it! It always good to have a fit in mind but be open to anything!! Good luck and enjoy the planning :)
Don't worry - you'll know! Two of the dresses I tried on made me cry...the first one and THE one. That might be an indicator for ya! You'll look beautiful in whichever dress you choose! :)
