Home is where the heart is..

So, tonight is our last night in our sweet little condo! Tomorrow we move into a HOUSE! I am thrilled for two-level living and actually having space to live and breathe. It is very close to my place right now, which I LOVE, so that I am very excited about. Still close to downtown, parks, and of course ice cream (ZIGGY'S---yum...) I must admit, I am a little sad to be moving out of my cozy little home! It was Brady and my first place; a token of my independence. I was proud to know I could make it on my own in such an awesome place, even as a single mom. Little did I know that not long after I found my dream condo for my sweet little boy and myself, that my dream guy would come waltzing in. Poor Ryan has dealt with a LOT staying with us in this place! Although it is beautiful and modern, it's over 100 years old, and is NOT made for a 6'7" guy! He can barely shower here (I have a footed tub which literally makes it another foot off the floor, so he is literally bending over to get his head under the running water HA HA HA.) So, before we even knew that Baby McLean was on the way, we knew that moving was in our near future.

An opportunity arose to move into Ryan's parents rental home, and it was literally too good to be true, and impossible to pass up. The house is adorable and on a quiet, dead end street. Perfect for families, and of course it has space for a soon-to-be family of four. WOW. I packed up the whole house, and Ryan tackled the kitchen for me, and we are in great shape. Of course, this week is the most humid and hot of the year thus far, (CALLED IT!) so I am grateful I decided to hire movers tomorrow. I am a useless pregnant girl, anyways :) I can't wait to make memories with my little (growing) family in our new home! I keep picturing Holidays, trick or treating, and my little babies running around through our FIRST house together. This is the house I will be bringing my sweet baby home to. So happy! I promise to post pictures ASAP...my camera broke on the 3rd of July and I'm still shopping around for possibilities.

Brady has spent a lot of time at the beach, pool, and beach club the last few weeks and is a little fishy in the water. He has a LOVE for popsicles, playing catch, and running outside barefoot. Summer has been good to him so far! He is definitely looking forward to riding his quad up and down his new street starting tomorrow! He was a little confused as to where his toys were going ("Brady's toys????!!!") but was a big helper with packing up his books into a box. I am so excited to see him as a Big Brother! I think it will be good for him. The world revolves around that little boy, so it will be nice to have a little brother or sister that he will have to SHARE with. I know he will love and take care of the baby, and I hope they grow to be super close.

Little Baby McLean is growing, growing, growing! I am putting my 15/16 week pregnancy update together (even though I'm 17.5 weeks now---slacker), since things basically have stayed the same. We have our ultrasound next week, and are NOT finding out :) I am praying for a healthy baby and hoping he/she doesn't come out as a cherry or allergic to Red Dye 40----I AM OBSESSED WITH JUNKY, CHERRY FLAVORED, GOODIES.

***How Far Along: 15/16 Weeks
Size of baby: Naval Orange (4.0 inches, 2.5 oz) /Avocado (4.6 inches, 3.5 oz)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: No idea! My clothes feel the same.
Maternity Clothes: Not yet! Living in yoga pants and sundresses.
Gender: SURPRISE! I think Boy, Ryan thinks Girl.
Movement: I can feel the baby flutter, and we both felt a big mass (?) last week!
Sleep: I am feeling much better in the second trimester! Sunday's are tough for me, since I work all day on Saturday, and my body goes into recovery mode.
What I miss: Sushi, wine.
Cravings: Cherry flavored things, Coca Cola, tacos, baked potato w sour.
Symptoms: A little bump--I think I just look chubby ha, I am sooooo thirsty all the time, horrible pregnancy acne (never had more than one zit a month my entire life!) This baby is definitely sucking the "life" out of me. It is SO worth it :)

Can't wait to be HOME SWEET HOME!
